A southerner doing the northern route!
I have been thinking how to do my bit for those fighting our cause. So I have registered and being a southerner I thought I would ride 200 miles to the start so I can travel on new roads! This seems a better and more enjoyable way of raising money rather than my failed London Marathon entry.
I have done some training - 710 miles in 11 hours in the summer - Reading to 50 miles north of Marseille. I am glad I had the 1200gs and not the 800gs. Different tools for different trades. I suspect A roads to be ore of a challenge.
