For those of you in the SE region can I bring to your attention a Charity Sledge Pull, that is taking place between London and Brighton on the above dates.

The Royal British Legion Rider Branch will be providing motorbike and car support escort assistance as required. It would be good to see any of the UKGSers on-route or offering other support for this charity event :tarka

See attached web link for more information.

Graeme ;)

The Event
Dave Liburn along with Stu Bourne, Stuart Baldwin, Cai Ives, Stuart Power and Potz Carr will be pulling a sledge to rasie funds for HELP OUR WOUNDED ROYAL MARINES over the weekend stopping at Crawley where there will be a fundraisng event on the Saturday evening! We continue the pull on Sunday from Crawley to Brighton where our final stopping point will be TRU Nightclub, where there will be another fundraising evening.

What is happening
As well as raising funds we will be asking for donations of Christmas presents so that we may pass these onto the children of those brave Royals who have given their lives or have been injured and will not have their fathers around this Christmas. Lets do all we can to try and raise a smile and show we do care and will never forget them.

Donate a Gift
We need your help in getting people to donate gifts for this great cause. You can drop of your donation at The Crawley Sea Cadets on Longmere Road or by contacting us directly by email
dave.wallchart@gmail.com or by phoning us on 01293 406691. Pass this on to everyone and lets
make a child happy this Christmas. Thank you all kindly for your support.

I was working on Rem Sunday, we had mist at the airport on the appointed hour, very appropriate and all stood and respected as you do. Shame the control room radio ops didn't have a fucking watch :)
