Ballymena Carfest (now with added bikes) 9th June 2012

Hi folks, just a quick note to say that we are organising Ballymena Carfest again this year. In the past 3 years we have raised £51k for Macmillan Cancer Support, every penny of which is spent locally.

This year we have a huge covered marquee area where there will be bikes and bike trade stands on display.

What we're looking for are bikes of any type, trikes, tourers, classic, vintage, even your pride and joy polished up (or not).....the whole lot!

There is a family day out so even if you don't fancy bringing your bike, bring yourself and the family. There is a free shuttle bus running into the Fairhill for anyone who would prefer a run into the shops.

Details of the days events can be found on the website, it was a fanastic day last year with over 5000 people throught the gates!

Thanks for reading!! If you know of anyone who has a bike that they would like to show please tell them about the event, bikes are covered and cordoned off so no-one will be pawing the bikes when your back is turned. I know there is some fantastic machinery out there!!!

Application forms are available to download from the website or you can show up on the day. If you're registered beforehand though you are guaranteed a wee keepsake for taking part.

Every penny raised goes to Macmillan, would be great to see you there
