Jocksers Dad has passed away.

Sad news indeed. Thoughts and prayers are with you and family at this time.

Thank you all. I'm touched (yeah, yeah, I know !) by all the posts here & the kind thoughts and actions of friends & neighbours during this difficult week.

Although Dad hadn't been well since last September it was still a shock when he passed away on Friday morning. He'd been taken to hospital on Wednesday with pneumonia which was the final straw for his heart & kidneys. Although Mum & I were still away when he passed, thankfully my sister & wife were by his side for his peaceful & dignified exit.

The funeral is today & I know I'll see some of you there for which I'm grateful. To the rest of you thanks again for your kind words.
