Thanks for these, replies. Was at Calne Bike Festival yesterday, Saturday, and had a good chat with the Puncturesafe guy. Needless to say, I bought some! He was straightforward with pros and cons, and I am due to change tyres and tubes mid August so will try this stuff in current fittings and see how it goes!

I use tubes in my old Suzuki but unless they look bulged or otherwise beyond patching I reuse them with new tyres. It's one of the good things about tubes.
