Has anyone had an ABS pump repair done on a 800GS? Tried one company that was recommended on another forum (although for a 1200GS) but was told they couldn't test or repair it. No explanation why. The fault (no communication to CANbus) is documented as a common repair for loads of Bosch units. Any recommendations greatly received! Thanks.

Would the company have been motoscot?
If not may be worth asking them.

Nah - BBA Reman. Thanks for the suggestion. May get a second hand one first though to minimise downtime being as I'm a courier.

I tried 3 different repair/remanufacturing specialists and not one of them would repair motorbike ABS units. Seems like too little return for the investment required.
Fortunately James Sherlock had a s/h unit off a low mileage '08 800GS.
