hallo, guys,
Am about to mount street tires on our f650gs bikes. Hardly ever leave the tarmac. Am looking at Michelin pilot road 4 Trail, however, they offer 110/80 (=standard size) and 120/70 for the front. I would say that 120/70 gives more rubber on the road, or am I wrong? :nenau

You could be right, you could be wrong.
FWIW I fitted Conti Road Attack 2 on my 650 and chose the 140/80 rear as the standard fitment. I wish I had gone for the 150/70 for ride height and turn in.
As for the front, going back to my RG250 days, going oversize on the front will slow up the steering caused by more drag. And I suspect the 120/70 is aimed at the 1200WC.
HTH.
Brian

Thanks, Bem, Earwig,
I am on dunlop TR91's now, excellent tire by the way, but I think I'm going to take the plunge for 120/70 & 150/70 just out of curiosity. Being different paid out a lot of times for me. Will report back.
