The welly.
The tearoom place i wiz in wi Klanky and JKM in tomintoul would get my vote.Think its mibee the auld firestation.
Any other suggestions? Or are ye nae bathered.
All good suggestions

The Transport Cafe as you enter Newtonmore is a good meeting spot as is the wee cafe beside the River Tilt at Blair Atholl (forget the name), especially if folk are coming from the East of Scotland and also from the Argyll, FW and Skye areas.
The Old Firestation at Tomintoul is a cracking spot. That was where we all had wur lunch at the Speyside Run a couple of years ago. I think there's a photo o' HRH haen an ice cream cone there...
The Moulin's out since some shite-bag went shopping on my credit card after I had lunch there....
Apart from that, I like Rannoch, although, could we have lunch at Glen Clova....
That's a heavy accusation there, Garf. I've been a guid few times and have always enjoyed the grub. How are you so sure that your card was cloned there? Did you tell the hotel?
Glen Clova's always a good spot for grub and a nice area for a run up to. Doyle might want to meet somebody near their point of departure to get a half decent run if we meet there though
It never is? Jeesy peeps! How time fly's when you are enjoying yourself.
Question for Ronno: was that the same time as we turned up and it was shut, or was that another time?
No, I think that was the following year. I don't think I've been back. Certainly not since the McMohammed clan took over. I've heard horror stories about the place and the service. Shame really as it was a good spot and they did great beef and gravy sandwiches.
A couple more suggestions from me would be the 19th Hole at Earlsferry or The Ship Inn (meant to be the best fish and chips in Scotland according to Nick Nairn) at nearby Elie, both East Neuk of Fife.
Bridge of Cally Hotel: Top food and you have the Blair to Braemar road to play on.
The Cree Inn, Abernethy (we've had a couple of lunches there, the last time being at the Daftmill Distillery meet)
