Do you mean to say that you managed to plot a trip around Scotland without first posting a thread in the SS asking us to recommend you a route or a good road?

I wish other people could be as adventurous :D
 
oh no, i know the routes that i have posted, because i come back to scotland nearly every year for a round-trip....
the most of them i´d found many years ago when i was travelling without a map and no gps, just driving an enjoying the landscape.

but if you think the routes are bad, or there are better routes, please call me! :D

i just want to show you this perfect site. That´s it.

My quip was aimed at the people who want their hand held and be shown where to go.

I think I did, it was made in Germany too. I bought a new 1/4 inch router last week but thats made by Trend and I don't know where they're from :)

By the way the websites very good, you can export the routes as .gpx files which a Garmin reads :thumb2

I met a Markus from Koln on a GS on the Newcastle ferry last summer and had a few :jager :beer: at the bar for a couple of hours/

thats not me... sorry. Last year i went to tirol with the GS.... alps express week!
