Hi guys

I have just bought the GS I always wanted.
It's a 2k model, with full service history, original panniers, heated grips, ABS, alarm and a few more extras here and there, and I am soooooo happy that I even smile at work all day long.

:augie

Cheers from sunny Cyprus

Heated grips and cyprus in the same sentence.....hopefully they wont get much use then...... welcome. :thumb2

Kalimera Andronicus ........... it's 29 degrees down here on the beach at Latchi so disregard the heated grips and ride over to the Jazz Festival at Paradise Place Pomos this weekend. Look for an elderly dark green and clapped out green SP370 and I'll buy you a beer

Yeah it's true heated grips for our weather is over the top but nevertheless, they must have some use during the 15 day winter period :D

Kritou will do my best to come, thanks for the invitation, have fun over there anyway

Welcome Andronikos

You've got the bike, you've got the weather - you even drive on the proper side of the road!
It doesn't get much better than this.

Yes you can get a ferry to Cyprus it is quite easy actually, but it takes a day or two from Athens to Limassol.

I ave got the bike and we have got the weather YEAHHHH, that's it

That's cool. What ferry company?

I love Greece but have never been to Cyprus. I am beginning to wonder if it woukld be a good place to retire to.

It would be great if there was a ferry from Turkey but I guess that's out of the question

Hi Andronikos and welcome.

I have been visiting your beautiful island twice every year for the last 20 years now, and I’ve always wanted to ride there. So I’ll have to find out more about the Ferry timings, for a possible road trip there next year.

I usually stay in either Erimi Village or Latchi, where I hire an enduro bike and ride around the Akamas trails. But I’d love ride all my favourite routs on my 1200GSA.

I’m back over there in October, so I’ll watch out for you on your 1150GS if I’m up by Nicosia.

With 5C showing on the temp gauge at 05-30 going into work, One needs heated grips. OK its only for about 1 month, but needed.

Andronikos, any news about the goverment dropping the import duty on bikes over 600cc. I've been away for about 3 months now, and would love to bring the bike over from UK, but 3600euro is too much to pay. I'll just carry on with my VFR.
