Anyone using these as pannier top bags? Just need something to carry small items that are needed as we travel on tour.

Used to use bumbag but as camera has got bigger with bigger case the bumbag is no longer an option so is this bag a good alternative?

i've been using a US10 on top of the GSA top box and i find it a rather useful way to slightly enlarge carrying capacity. attaches easily with the supplied straps , and is waterproof :thumb2

As much as I don't really like having a tank bag on the bike, I find that a much more practical way to carry a few items than a Kriega drybag. The tank bag is right there so you can get to it without getting off the bag, and the opening is typically much easier/faster.

As cookie states, drybag on top of the pannier is very useful way to give that little extra storage and I would suggest the 10 is a much better fit. But more for things for the duration of a trip, rather than those little items you want easy access to :thumb2

No need for tank bag as my pillion takes care of all the paperwork etc etc , makes going throu tolls piece of  so a pannier bag is a better solution for us.
