I have picked up a set of secondhand WP shocks for my R1150GS. I wont be seeing them till late this week early next so any advice for fitment etc. The rear was overhauled 5000kms ago as it had a wee leak.

My 1100 came with a WP shock on the rear, judging by the corrosion its been there for some time, it works very well

My advice is unscrew the old and install the new

Whatever you do don't go searching for "white power" on the interweb. Takes you to all kinds of unpleasantness.

Guess that is why they rebranded to WP some years back
