12000gs adv fog lights

Hi There,

I dropped my GS today as a car pulled out without indicating or warning, luckily I was only going about 10mph and hit at probably 5mph or less. I am however a little pissed off (apart from the usual reasons) that the optional fog light on my left hand side broke off.. durable my butt..

It broke off where the mounting bracket is. From looking at the construction of the light it almost looks like it could be a replaceable part however knowing my luck it is probably not. Does anyone know if you have to replace the whole unit or can you replace just one, or just the casing where it connects to the bike.

Any advice would be greatly appreciated.

nothing really, it was so slow when it happened that nothing is damaged except some paint on the mount of the light, the only bit that hit the car was the light and its surrounding mount.

Yup, £55 notes. There are no parts available. You could try some Araldite
