Just how much weather protection does a 950/990 Adventure give you when used on the road, touring, etc?

Not much, about the same as a normal GS.

Yeah? I went to Mounters for a test ride........ Booked it for 1:00pm on a weekday. I got there at 12:30pm and when someone finally gave me some attention, they told me I'd have to wait until the demo bike was prepped for a test ride!!!??? That took 45 mins and I finally set off at 2:00pm. Oh yes...... the final insult was being told, "by the way, it's on reserve and there's f*ck all petrol in it, so you better stop at the first garage you come to"!!!!!!!!!!!!
Customer service is not their strong point!!!
Service is not there strong point your right.Had a loan bike same thingfeck all petrol turn left stick a tenner in just up the road.!
Just road it round and made sure tank was in the same state as I had it.

KTM dealers are a bit hit and miss. I go to the KTM Centre in Hemel while there are two closer to me who are more miss then hit.
