my laydee wants a bike, but shes got little legs. wats the lowest seat hight available on the 650? what about the funduro (gonna b cheeper)? cheers chums.

lots of info on trevor's 650 site
standard GS seat ,no low seat available
but a lowered chassis/rear shock F650 can be ordered.
Matron and Reggie had one of these type.
also Riverking? has lowered standard Gs I think.

The new GS 650 has 3 versions : lowered, normal and the Dakar. Each of these then also has the choice of a low or high seat. I don't know the measurements though Karl.
Why not get her a nice little G/S?

My other half's 650 is up for sale shortly, 3,000 miles from new, couple of hundred since last dealer service, lowered suspension (genuine bmw), lowered seat, abs, bmw aluminium paniers.
Riverking (on behalf of lowered wife).

Hi There,

I've had both the Funduro and the F650GS lowered versions and could easily plat both feet flat on the deck. My inside leg's 27.5 inch.

Of the two I reckon the Funduro handled the best, as the GS was a little easy to ground when making progress!

The GS lowering option was a factory fit option, which I believe is no longer available (I stand to be corrected if wrong).
