BMW dealer download?

Can anyone please provide a link to where you can find the list of European BMW dealers for downloading on to a 2610.

Not for me, got a Nav.II, it's for a customer I'm trying to help.

Here: is the UK lot for certain, never looked over the channel http://www.bmw-motorrad.co.uk/gb/en/index.html

"Navigation and Communication" - in the first column

"Downloads - on the LH side"

"Software - on the LH side"

"BMW Dealer Database / Upgrade version 1.03" - middleish of page

Nav 1 = SP3, then below it Nav 2 = 2610, the download is right at the bottom of the page and is a zip file.

BTW I only got the download onto the GPS, but never really tried to get it onto the PC as I sold the 2610 shortly afterwards.

I've looked at my Nav 2 which I've put the above upgrade in, and could find Austrian, German, Italian, Spanish, Swiss, French and Irish BMW Motorrad dealers.

Any way to provide an uplink as the gent above did? I have a 2610 that I purchased a euro city nav. V7 for. It of course contains none of the bmw info.

Thanks.

If you follow post #2 in this thread it should get you the info. It works as I put it into a 2610 earlier. Once you carry out the "update" then you'll have the list in your GPSR, I never had the time to see if I could send it back to the PC.

Sorry to sound thick, but how do load these files onto Mapsource/Quest?

I'm getting a message that the "File cannot be read because it uses a subsequent file version".

I've got Mapsource Version 6.4

Up loaded the 4 countries provided above. Many thanks. Assume this includes auto dealers as well...there are so many. Any way to cull them out? Still looking for Italia and Germany.

any chance you could use mapsource to pull of the waypoint lists for the countries Austria, Germany, Italy, Spain & Switzerland then, and post them on the forum for the rest of us who don't have the NavII ?

Good man...
