I am thinking about getting a 2 Gig C/F card to load up all the Europen Maps onto my 2610. Thing is which is classed as a reliable perofrmer in the 2610. I believe some can fail to operate properly.

I have seen Sandisk is a popul;ar one and cheap but on the VFR site some said this was not reliable. Another make I have seen is Viking which is more expensive but seems to be reliable (according to the Adventure-Motorcycing site. They also seem to recommend Lexar). Well chaps what are your views about different makes or are they all in fact the same????? :nenau

Strange, but everywhere I've read says that Sandisk are the most reliable - this coupled with the fact that my 2610 came supplied with a Sandisk card made my mind up for me.

Have a look at THIS THREAD for prices etc, but mine cost about £56 inc postage and VAT from e-buyer.

In fact all of CN Europe are still being downloaded now. Only 32% done and it says that there are still 5 hours and 10 mins remaining. I may abort it, as I assume I will have to go through the whole process again, when Version 8 arrives in a week or so. :eek
