While looking for some files yesterday, I came across this list I prepared a few months ago, before my big trip. I don't like to rely on Manuals if possible, and feel that to get the best out of the GPS I should ideally know all the features / tricks etc by heart. What I tended to find was that when the pressure is on (and arguably the time you need the GPS most) you don't have time to empty the panniers looking for a manual / crib sheet etc - and that in an ideal world you should know what to do automatically.
I never managed to tick all 60 boxes - I think my personal best was 52 without having to look up the manual. It was only after the trip, that I realised just how many of the features I had used in a 10 day trip especially the road blocked one (No 27).
The file size is too big for it to show clearly, but I'll see if I can have a play to make it clearer.
