insufficient memory

I have been trying to update the maps on my Nav V to the latest version. I've had it a few years and not had a problem in the past but Garmin Express throws up an error report that there is 'insufficient memory on the computer it needs 18Gb free space'. I last updated it to V 2024.10 in June...
