lowering f800gs

I'm looking at dropping the rear of my f800gs around 25mm with a lowering kit... Two questions - I was hoping to avoid fitting a lowering kit to the front. Any one any idea of what I could get away with doping the front forks through the yoke? Is there alternative to the hyperpro shorter...
