transmission

Hi I'm part way through replacing the bearings in my 1150GS Adventure transmission. Everything is going fine except I'm not 100% confident on the gearshift mechanism. I can shift through all of the gears and all seems ok with the gears, but the shift lever seems "loose" and has no spring back...
