Planning my first voyage to the Emerald Isle in September, and thought it might be prudent to ask if this is a good time of year to go. I'm no fair weather rider but then again spending all day every day in waterproofs isn't my idea of fun either. If you were me, would you forget about September...

Im planning a biking trip to the Alps with the missus, but the only time she can get off work is end of Sep. Anyone know what the weather in the Alps is like around then ? Are all the passes open etc much rain or sun etc ? Thanks !!! :aidan
