Having come back from Lands End all motivated and in love with my ADV, I have decided to spend a bit of dosh on it. It must have been all those other GS's loaded with goodies that did it.

So here is the question, Standard ADV with Autocom, Tobinators and GPS already fitted. What should I spend my £1k budget on? Y piece & Remus can? New seat (which one?) Ultimate earplugs? A set of matching panniers to go with my B*W top box? What else?

And before 6X pipes up, no suggestions of catering packs of spray-on mud please!

goodies

simple addition Y piece and a Remus are A must.

Next a Swedish Au pair!!

rear shock
Ard part
Y piece maybe
light kit (otherwise never leave the city at night)
anything by tobers, Reyno, MiGSel...

in the unlikely event you have change left - you have to pass on enabbs suggestions asettle for a couple of saucy magazines

1. Got to be Ohlins then the rest in what ever order suits you...

Then a Y pipe with standard can for that extra bit of mid range punch and sound

Halford spots if you night ride on unlit roads

Tobinators if you have problem with buffeting

The above make a significant difference to your bike

As for GPS and Cases that's individual if you really need them you'll know if not it's just money attached to your bike...
