Pidcocks have offered a 12 month warranty for £250 + vat everything covered as bmw warranty except recovery & i would think it will not cover corrosion ,But it seems a good deal compared to the BMW one
Did you take out the warranty from Pidcocks?? My bike was from pidcocks originally, if the cover is right it's a no bariner to take out this warranty
For sure I would not even consider changing my March '04 bike if I could get a sensible extended warranty for £250 plus vat. How does it compare to the ridiculous BMW one for £675
Thanks

Just spoke to dave at Pidcock, apparently to take advantage of this warranty the bike has to be serviced by them, or at least they will do a service to make sure it's all together. Mine has 2,500 miles to go before the next service, I have offered to take it up for them to scrutinize and also have said I will have the next service done by them..........I normally use Clarkes, the bike has a full dealer history, so will let you know the outcome.
Must say that to cover all mechanical, by a BMW dealer sounds just the ticket to me and certainly would remove any need to sell the bike just to buy an '06 one to take advantage of the warranty.
Dead right Greg....................... however, I guess that there might be half a chance it does what it says on the tin.......... and at £250 it's worth taking it out I reckon
