'02 1150GS Front Brake pads

I need new pads for the front of my '02 1150GS. Everytime I have changed my front pads, the dealer or mechanic has firstly ordered the wrong set.

Apparently the calipers aren't the ones they expect to be on there?!?

They have BMW stamped on the OUTSIDE face and BREMBO stamped on the inside face. I cannot see a number stamped anywhere.

So, does anyone have a pic of the different types of pads available? Are there THAT many different calipers used on the 1150?

Any help? PLEASE!

Look HERE - pictures identifying the pads you need

Your pictures identify nothing - the two types of pads are identical visually, just a couple of mm difference in size - use my pictures to identify the brake caliper you have, then you'll know what pads you need

Scud, Yours are the same as mine, EBC FA335HH front, EBC FA363HH rear, available Nippy Normans, Ferodo Platinum also very good.

You are having the opposite problem to me. I have a 2001 1150 and when I ordered some Carbon Larraines they sent me ones that looked like yours. Didn't look anything like the ones I took out.

I phoned a couple of other dealers and they wern't sure what one to send.

I have just one ridge in the middle of the pad and a tension spring that the retaining rod goes through.

I ended up getting them from North Oxford BMW and they went in a treat. I was told the callipers changed about halfway through 2001 and mine is a June 2001 bike

All sorted now and very grippy brakes
