05 Gs Traded for 08 Gsa

I have today secured an 08 GSA - I traded in my 05 GS on it...

I travel on 2 wheels, long distance, for a living- I am hoping the 08 GSA is more technically robust for the job I require it for...

Has anyone else traded their 05 GS for an 08 GSA?

Is there anything I need to know?

Any Feedback appreciated

Traded my 54 plate 1200GS or an '08 GSA.

At first I thought that the seat height and bulk would be an issue, but I swapped my "low" GS seat onto the GSA and aint had any probs yet. The "bulk" is a bonus as cars really get out of the way.

Have issues with the fuel guage (but they all do that), getting around 325 miles to the tank, despite the guage reading empty at 220!!!.

Thought the GSA was noisier than the GS, and suffered "popping" on the overrun, but found clamp between cat and muffler was not correctly fitted.

Heading for south of France in a few weeks. Really looking forward to the run.
