hey guys posting up to see if anyone knows how the bmc controls the heater element for the o2 sensor. I am installing an Xied from nightrider and the unit gets it power from the heater circuit in the o2 sensor. from what i have observed on the bike and the Xied is that between 3500 and 4000 rpm the xied loses its power. I am thinking that the bmc only runs the heater element at rpms lower than 3500ish and relies on the heat of the exhaust to keep the o2 sensor hot above that. Anyone have anything they could add?
thanks
