HI, A friend of mine has just bought a new GSA and as there is a choice of tyres offered him was wondering what the popular choice for this bike is.

I've hot Bridgestone Battlewing's on my GSA. Wasn't offered a choice (except for off-road) so I think it's just luck of the draw.

I've got Anakees (sp?) on my 08 GSA - not got a problem with 'em, but also don't have anything direct to compare with. They're round and they stick acceptably...

My new GSA which is fitted with the new Conti Trail Attacks. Seem to be ok so far, but not had a chance to try them in the wet yet. Getting good feedback and the pattern looks funky too.

I suppose most tyres are going to be pretty good he was just wondering if there were any to steer clear of.

OE Tyres on my 2007 12GS was Battlewings and they are superb.

I asked for a choice back in Feb for my new 08 GSA and was told no, unless I wanted knobblies.

Came with Battlewings but I noticed two other new bikes when I collected mine on different makes.

I think it's a complete lottery.

No complaints with the Battlewings. Good as anything I've had on a GS.
