........... I have taken delivery of my 08 GS12:D and swopped all the bling over to the new bike. Now the problem:confused:, I have a extra padded seat for my big bum:D and the riding position seems different to my 56 GS12, which I had 25mm bar risers on. So does anyone know of anyone who makes 25mm risers for the 08 GS12.
Before you all start I know they are built in but it still feels too low. Any engineers who could make some?

Google Rox Risers - got them on my 08 and perfect fit!

Hi Kahuna, Please could you confirm exactly which model of riser you have. Don't want to buy the wrong one's. Do you have to alter the brake lines for longer one's.
Thank you for your help they seem to be exactly what I'm looking for.

Have you tried rotating the bars forward in the clamps - small movement makes a big difference:thumb

The correct Risers are the 3R-P2PP parts.

Email Ryan at Rox and he will steer you right on the 08 GS. He knows what he's talking about!

I needed to move the cables from inside the fork tube / tripple trees, but didnt need to alter the length etc. Its easy to move the cables etc. Some links for it on ADVRider but essentially you just, remove the black bungs on the tops of the fork tubes - loosen the nuts on the tube tops and the tube will drop a few inches (with the bike on the centre stand). Move the cables and pipes and lift the tube back up and refit the nut.

Youll have no problem I'm sure. Best of luck.
