I've been with Demon since 1996. They have had their moments.

The worst one was shortly after getting Broadband, when the the connection went very slowly every evening.

Eventually after an engineer visit from BT the problem was solved. BT had set one of the linking paremeters incorrectly, and I actually received an apology plus some credit.

I have found the service over the last year to be pretty reliable and I am really looking forward to the free upgrade to 2 Megs!

Perhaps I should really say they are c$£p as then I will get more bandwidth to myself...

Demon have never quota'd and I've been with them a while. They also give you a connectiona nd an IP address and what you do behind that is up to your skills, technology and ingenuity (within legal limits of course).

I have to say I've never, ever hit a problem with Demon, then again, I just hung a cisco box on my end of their line and let that do the work...
