Hi all,

despite the typical British weather I decided to go for a Day trip through Berkshire's sights on the little Honda MSX125 (Grom).

I set off from my home in Wokingham at around 10.30am - having just watched the Moto GP qualifying - I was motivated!

my Red little Devil was nice and clean and fully fuelled.

I headed east through town - getting many looks as my 6ft2 body looks very big for the little beast!

My first stop would be Windsor!

the country lanes were still wet and the OE tyres on the bike are not that great in the wet...so I took it easy!

Soon I could see my first sight in the distance...

Windsor was packed as usual with Tourist and shoppers etc, but I managed to get the MSX parked just outside the Windsor castle entrances for a photo.

her Majesty the Queen was not in - so I continued my journey and head for Eton village.

just outside the famous college I stopped again for a photo.

Eaton and Windor are only seperated by the river Thames and the brigde at the end of Eaton High street is a good spot to place the bike and get brdge, castle and bike into 1 shot!

Eaton high street was busy too and I am not sure why are the flags were out.

but it looked nice anyway.

I than headed north out of Eaton and got the Dorney lake - which was used as the Olympic rowing venue just in the summer of 2012!

today there was hardly anybode about, but that allowed me to get close and personal with the lake....

I headed further north to get to Henley on Thames - where there is always a nice place to stop just by the river and takes some pics.

my final stop was Blackbushe Airport - which is just for light aircraft and choppers! They have a great little cafe there which served me a nice cuppa and cookie!

All in all I covered about 100 miles and the little MSX was perfect.
I even got 73mph - down one hill with the wind in my back!:D

I did not use this

and most of the road were just like this

Only the seat on the MSX is too hard for me - otherwise I did not feel cramped or underpowered etc. It was a great little adventure and just showed me again how much fun such a little bike can be!

Everywhere I stopped people came and spoke to me about the bike!
Anyway just thought I share it.

Thanks
Lars
