101 Electrics - EXO2 body warmer

Basic I know but...
Have bought a EXO2 body warmer that I'll connect straight to the battery..
Q1 - connecting to the battery - does it matter if i connect the + or - first?
Q2 - I've installed a 5A fuse in the line from battery to vest - I assume this is more than sufficient?
Basic I know but anything else I need to consider?

it will run ok plugged into the accessory socket.

otherwise...

1) you should undo - first, then +. do up + first then -. not important electrically, it just reduces the chance of shorting with the spanner.

2) 5A probably OK. try it. if it blows, go to 10A.
