As is customary, I propose the 4th Thursday, which would be the 24th. We'd need to book the King Billy soon, as it's very busy these days, or we could revert to the Chequers. Preferences?

I'm happy with the Chequers as well. :)

Chequers Mates :thumb2

Not sure yet whether I'll make it at the moment though........

Count me in too. Chequers is fine by me - as long as they serve their famous pork belly!;)

Will go with the flow as always, so long as they have a loo with good access....

just back from hosp - looks like crutches til Xmas!

Safe to venture on to the trails then ! :D

Get well soon, see you tomorrow (part 2 of the Roman Road is on You Tube).

Just watched both parts of 'The Roman Road' :clap

Possu, did you intend to make it appear more difficult than it actually was for cinematic and artistic purposes? :hide :D

No, my abilities deserted me, reducing me to your standard of ability, hence my complete failure in part 2. :D

I've known for a while that whilst reasonably fast and competent on Wiltshire's rutted trails, I lack experience and ability on more technical and rocky trails, made harder by riding a 690 with full luggage. Apart from a couple of other low speed drops, I was flying on the rest of trails. More video to come, just need to edit it.

If you were still sporting the rear "tyre" that was on it at the Hagbourn bike meet that might explain some of its lack of willingness to make uphill progress...

Blah blah blah.

I will be there to take the piss as well.

Numpty boy.

Enough of your nonsense Watson.

Some of us have a second set of wheels for our 690's, mine were shod with nearly new Mitas enduro tyres which were down to 2-3mm by the end, I spent the last 2 days struggling for grip and sliding the bike about on the dirt, great fun.

The last three videos are on You Tube.

I dont know, handed #68 on page 43 of the KTM book of excuses and you turn it down.....:blast

Sorry folks, can't make it tonight due to a family matter that's just cropped up :blast

And was looking forward to tales of Portugese derring-do as well! Have to catch up next time :thumb2

No - I do tables at the King Billy!. Chequers is out of my jurisdiction!

Mmm, the one who starts the thread usually books the table - so I hope you are joking...

See you later!
