Doing a bit of reading about the 1100/1150 RT-P and I'm thinking about one. Has anyone had any experiences with them in the UK?
From what I've read, the US models (maybe the same model is used in the UK) came with a bigger alternator, twin batteries, crash bars, city case lids, tougher rear shock etc. How much is left on these bikes after all the police gear has been chopped off?
They seems to be a mixed bag in the states. Usually the police gear is just hacked off and most of the wiring is left in place which could be a bit of a mess. The bikes seem to have the shit driven out of them, but surely a low mileage model (under 40k), with decent service history should be alright?
