1100, 1200 Alternator belts, same part?

From what I can glean from retailers' websites, the alternator belts for the 1100 and the 1200 (adv) are the same part number.

Please, can anyone confirm that this is correct?

Just trying to reduce the spare parts list for a forthcoming trip with a mate...

Go to www.advrider.com and do a search . I am sure there was some stuff on there about this.

If not there was certainly a good thread showing you how to change your alternator belt.

Thanks for the advice Rushy. Before rushing of to Adv Riders for how-to information, do have a look at the great stuff Steppers has created for the benefit of folks using this site.

Steppers post are really good but they don't contain enough uses of the words "awesome" and "dude" to warrant the same sort of merit as those posts found on ADV.

PLUS he never gives us the one fingered salute in any of his pictures.

Note to self ...must read technical setion more often.
