Hiya guys.I have a turbine like whining noise coming from my 1100.its there when in motion in all gears when moving.when stationary in neutral its gone.also when changing from 1st to 2nd and 2nd to 3rd with the clutch lever pulled fully in it feels like something spinning fast preventing the gear slipping in smooth.I,be read similar symptoms of a throw out bearing going wrong.is it easily accessible.cheers dudez

If the clutch thrust bearing/piston is failing you can sometimes hear a slight squeak from the bearing as you pull the clutch in and out and sometimes the free play in the clutch arm also increases as the bearing wears into the thrust piston.

Steppers you are a fooking genius.:thumbWith bike on centre stand,Rear wheel off taken off, bike running in any gear the bearings sqealing when clutch is let out.i take it its a swingarm off jobby.
