the bike r 1150 gs 2001 single spark with 99000 km. Probably the old lady wants presents for her 100k :) .
Issues at latest months...
High consumption about 9-10 l/100km.
Smell of fuel.
Starting difficult. Starting with fast idle. Must have pulled fast idle (first level) at least the temp goes to 1 or 2 bars.
Yesterday after 15km ride the idle goes to 1400rpm. After a 20minute stop the idle goes to normal (about 1000 - 1100 rpm) but the bike break down at every stop light. This happen from 3 bars temp and continues at 5 bars temp.
Before this i have check the throttles balance and they was perfectly balanced. Tps at 0.37. Plugs of oil temp sensor, air sensor, lambda sensor looks good and i put in then a little dielectric grease.
Five days ago i check and clean the injectors. Then i noticed the fuel dont stop leak from the injectors base. Is this normal? I dont remember if this happen years ago when i have pull out the injectors.
Spark plugs and fuel filter 1000 km before.
Coil and spark plug cables 5000km before.
Lambda sensor 10000 km before. Bosch with the same length and plug.
Fuel pump 10000 km before.(not original).
Hall Effect Sensor 15000 km before.
Sorry for my English.
Any suggestions for the problems?
thanks!

Firstly and more urgently I'd sort your fuel leak with new o rings... Leaking fuel is always bad...

You might then check the temp sensor isn't AWOL... I rode a bike with the same issues of running etc and the temp sensor was reading way too cold so over fuelling to compensate... I didn't fix it as it was a company demo so can't remember where it was but the bike was an r1150rs...

Sorry... My mistake.. No good English.
There was no leak. There was flow when the injectors are out of the bike.
Thanks!

When you have those issues... How was the temp bars at RID display?
Normal or colder than engine temp?

Check your throttle position sensor

If it has been moved for whatever reason Fuelling will be horrendous

It tells the ECU how open the throttle "flap" is

@ 0.47 volt it registers as tickover fuelling but variable with engine temp. Cold = roughly 30% more and why you need the fast idle.lever to allow enough air in when the motor is cold

If as I discovered with a friend's and high fuel consumption but went like stink it was a 0.660 v and way way rich

Today measurement of the Tps.
BTW today the bike run fine. No issues.
Thanks
