1150 Adventure Tank

I got 316 miles out of mine and still a bit left, not recommended as I think it was running on fumes and when there's no garages about (in the wilds of Arizona).

30- 40 miles, but depends if the float arm is set properly.

If you really want to find out, head out with a can of fuel and ride until it runs out

I get 50 to 55 miles reserve in my case. Depending on the riding conditions, I get 500 to 560km on a tank.

370 miles / 592 km is the most I can do on a single tank. And I ended up dry.

What remaining mileage can one expect once the orange light comes up on the dash?

It varies from bike to bike due the basic method of the coat hanger type wire used by the float arm in the tank.
It can get "bent" slightly whenever the fuel filter is changed or the pump removed which alters the reading slightly. ...

Best way to find out is to strap a can of petrol to the rack and run it dry. On my series of tanks(don't ask :D), I've got between 55 and 80 miles...

Without bending the rod, if I am not mistaken the reserve light can be programmed. Just as on the K1200RS. I don't remember the steps but will look for them.
