Hi, anybody know if there is such a thing as a shorter gear lever for my 1150 GSA out there? When I wear my favourite boots I find the reach is about an inch too far to be comfortable for my size 9.5's.

Thanks Roddy. I spotted that on Nippy's site but it seems to be just for the 1200. Perhaps I should ring them and ask!

bloody ell, most people think they are too short already, if u get a spare un, i could shorten it for you? or get a good alloy welder to do the same job

Blimey, too short! I've got a British Standard foot size 9 1/2 and the gear lever peg hits on my big toe nail and starts to rub if I don't lift my foot and move it forward. Suppose I could cut an inch off the front of my heel :)

Thinking about it the sideways extender that Wunderlich do might solve the problem. The Touratech one that Roddy found looks a bit overkill for the moment.

Thanks to you and Roddy for your help.

Well I tried the Wunderlich extender and it didn't do the job (anyone need one?) so got a spare lever as Digger06 suggested. Shortened by about an inch. Perfect! Can change up and down with minimal foot movement now.
