I've got a low GSA seat, all in black and in near enough brand new condition. After trying it for a couple of days, it's really too low for me, so I'd like to swap it for a standard grey and red GSA one. Anyone interested?

Yes, I'd considered that, but then I'd have to go back to my "ripped and torn" original (with built in damp bum effect). Not really the solution I was after :)
In the ideal world I'd like a straight swap with someone who is a couple of inches shorter than me and who has a standard seat in similar new condition.
Alternatively , if I find one myself, then this low one will be put up for sale for the same price to cover my costs!

I was working on the basis that it might be easier to swap with someone who really needed a low seat, with the added bonus that it's probably less hassle.
Failing that - yes, I agree - recovering the original is the best option. That's why I got a spare, as I ride it every day. Without a spare, recovering is not an option.

Does anyone know if there is a supplier for the "original" seat covers?

Or alternatively - who makes them for BMW?

Take a look at the following website : www.smtn.fr

Admit, it's in French, but this guy really makes some jewels out of an original seat for a low price ...

Full Re-furbishing starts at prices from +/- 150 EUR. Additionally you can add gell, multi-color, brandnames etc ....
