1150 have or have nots

I have a 1150, a 04 model, had it 8 weeks, 2 weeks ago it started runnin rough at 5000 revs and above.
If my autocom is on ( missis on back ) as it reaches 5000 revs and above a clickin can be heard in the Autocom headsets. OK, you say , ditch the missis, but the bike still runs rough. Local dealers swapped top set of plugs, for free, run OK for 500miles then started breaking down at 5000 revs again. They cant lookat it till Aug 8th. This foooks me trip to Achill , or at least slows me trip up
any Ideas please

Twin spark ??? Did they replace the spark plugs, or the plug caps.

Notorious for packing in.

Pull the bottom secondry plug caps off, and see if it runs cleanly on just the main plugs .

The Mechanic/ Techman said, " I have replaced the top plugs, it seems to be running OK, we dont change bottom plugs only after 20k plus" - to be fair to him - it did run right through the revband for 500 mile or more - but because of that being the only bits he touched - leads me to the conclusion that it is - of / from that area I will talk to him tomoro see if I can push him into action
I have already asked him for a new cap to try - he says No thats our job
