1150 or 1200

I'm moving to bexhill and want to commute to central london, daily, thinking of either a 1150 or 1200, any advice would be great. ps aervice my bikes myself

Get either and go adventuring....

commute to central london

and buy a 125 scooter aswell for the commute

I tried an 1150 but found it a little too cumbersome for central London (for a shortartse)

The 1200GS is a surprisingly good commuter:
Good turning circle
Narrower than it looks (?)
Handlebars go over the top of most doormirrors
Top brakes
Good Viz
Surprisingly light at low speeds
Tank range a bit disappointing

Although mine has spent more time being repaired than on the road so if you actually want to commute on a bike rather than wonder what happened to your electics / gearbox / lights then the 1200 might not be for you.

Then again, mine seems to have been made on the friday afternoon of the bierfest judging by the number of serious faults.
