1190 adventure

Going to try the 1190 for a second test ride soon, really liked the first ride which was with a pillion so now time to have some fun solo.
I think we all know it has minor niggles which you can decide with a road test whether they are enough to put you off buying or not, but i was hoping someone out there can help with a couple of questions.

How good are the ktm panniers, are they waterproof and easy to fix / load?

How does the bike cope with being loaded ( pillion & luggage )

Boring stuff i know but its no use asking the sales guy and its something that need thinking about when spending my hard earned cash.
Anyone out there covered some miles loaded?

I've only dome a little under 200 miles on mine, so I can't really give too much of an insight except to say I'm glad I didn't buy the toilet.
