Did you get it?

Took mine across a scenic Dartmoor to scrub in the old biker and new tyres. Epic.

Yep, rode it home and fitted the engine bars. First 15 mins I started with buyer’s remorse, think it was partially due to the large chunk of money I had just parted with (being a Yorkshireman it nearly killed me, I swear I felt nauseous) but the next 2 1/2 hours I spent grinning. I was half tempted to go for another ride at 10 o clock last night 😁

They are a really nice looking bike! :thumb2

I also had an initial pang of buyers regret and missing my 1250GSA. But over the initial 150miles, the bike feels like a natural fit for my local environment and my now mature style of riding. It's the epitome of freedom on two wheels with bags of character.

At 5'9, I can just manage the height and need to think a bit more about where my foot goes when stopping. I was surprised how comfortable the seat was as well as the relaxed stance with the risers.

Old Brewery at Gillingham for breakfast and a coffee at West Bay is today's plan.

I'll post a for sale for the OEM Annakee Wild knoblees which came off the bike later incase anyone is interested.

Must, must stop looking at the Unit Garage farkles...

Nice Jeremy . I just put engine bars and a unit garage rack on mine . Lovely bikes , like you I fitted Michelin road tyres and it’s a great road handler now
