1200/1250 plastics and frame colour code

While out on a run up to Elan Valley I was wondering how different the 1250 trim is to the 1200? Has anyone ever heard of someone swopping the trim 1250->1200?

Does anyone know the colour code for the silver framed GS TE 2016 , two small abrasion marks from the boots, I’d like to touch up and then put on frame protectors?
