I suspect collusion between certain aftermarket suppliers and BM....

Entirely possible (for a small fee and some non-competition exclusions no doubt).

Alternatively, it isn't beyond the bounds of possiblility that they were developing prototypes based on photographs and dimensions taken from shows etc. (using computer aided design). These prototypes can then be adapted and photographed as soon as the bike is available. At the same time, product designs can be finalised and production begins as soon as the brochure goes to print.

Easy really!

Remus Revolution – Innovative Technology for Maximum Performance
Remus Revolution GP is the name of the new high performance silencer of the Austrian sport exhaust manufacturing specialist. The
technology used in developing the latest Revolution concept is state of the art and the workmanship in production of that design is
very impressive.
The Revolution weighs according to different models only 2,2 kg and is EC road legal approved. The silencer offers a deep and
resonant sound and a noticeable power and torque increase throughout the entire engine range. For those who need extra power
on the race track, the removal of the riveted sound tube transforms the Revolution GP into a full on, full noise, straight through racing
silencer.
The compact designed, high quality stainless steel silencer is available in three different outer sleeve materials, Aluminium, Carbon,
Titanium and is now available for many popular models.
The latest innovation is the new flagship model from BMW R1200 GS.

Laser on 1200GS - bits left over???!!!

Hey chaps

I got hold of a Laser Duo wotsit and put it together using the airfix kit instructions.

I got the original bits off and fitted the new one - what a very nice tune it plays.

Now for the rub...

I have a complete bracket left over with all kinds of bolts nuts and spacers - what the hell is it for? Has anyone fitted one?

I have searched the forums and the laser site but there isn't a clear picture of what it does or where its for...

confused of cheshire...
