1200 gs fuel starvation problem

I have a problem with my 1200 gs adventure I think it is fuel starvation. When i gun the throttle the bike splutters no matter what speed. If i take it easy with a gradual increase in speed i dont get any problems. Only when i demand a quick acceleration do I get trouble. I cleaned the tank but I believe there is a fuel filter attached to the fuel pump. Any advice on how i can remove the pump. Does it screw off anti clock ??? Or any suggestions as to what might be causing
my problems. Only get a problem on quick acceleration

Find a post on coil failure. What you are describing is coil failure (normally secondary).

I have answered a few posts on how to find the dodgy coil.
