Can anyone tell me what is the maximum amps available from the auxillary output socket without upsetting the system, as I want to run 2 heated jackets from it. Any info much appreciated. Thanks ver much.

Am trying to post this in tecnical info but not having much luck. I think it is me as not familiar with this site. Sorry if I have got it wrong again! Perhaps someone could point me in right direction if I have!

No chance of running two jackets at the same time. Install a PDM60 and run two power points off this and you will have no trouble

Obvious answer here. Plug the riders jacket into the front aux socket, and the pillion jacket in the rear aux socket. No, wait, you bought the wrong bike didn't you :D

Aux socket won't run 2 jackets, easy to connect the fused power connections supplied with most jackets direct to the permanent live jump post under the right hand side battery cover, so easy & accessable you don't even need to disconnect battery..

:agree:
I connect my jacket directly to the battery using the same connector that I use for my Optimate 4. I simply bought a new Optimate 4 extension lead, snipped off the end opposite the new connctor. I then disconnected the cigar lighter type connector on my jacket, and neatly soldered the two pieces together. Now, when my bikes in the garage it's connected to my Optimate charger, but when I'm riding, I simply plug the jacket to the Optimate connector which is linked directly to the battery. Nice and waterproof too! :)

I have my heated Jacket controller velcro'd to the back of the clutch master, hard wired from battery.

Bought an extra lead to facilitate this.

Easy to adjust temp or on/off on the move.
