1200 GS on flea bay

hi,
I have noticed a 1200GS on flea bay. 2006, 240 miles bought in may. However it came from the USA. Its going for £5800. That sounds really cheap to me but would there be a problem having a yank bike I presume it is registered over here.
Anyone had any experience of this
