1200 GS Restrictor removal - advice please

Does anyone know how to remove a 1200 GS restriction set? I am now eligible to have them removed. I understand they have a device to restrict throttle movement. Are there any other parts to this withing the fuel injection, filter or other areas? How do I remove all parts of the restriction kit? I think it should be relatively simple and not require a visit to a BMW agent. Any advice most welcome. Thank you

yes, go to your dealer and get them to plug it into their computer to remove the restricter. Its in the bike's ecu

If it's an FI one, then it's two screws on the RHS of the bike (as you're sitting on it).

I didn't think there was an ECU one?
